After long waiting and a lot of drums the new Africa Twin (CFR1000L) finally saw the light in 2016. Its predecessor, the legendary XRV 750 Africa Twin was produced by Honda between 1996 and 2003. This late model was the ultimate adventure bike if you ask us. On our first big trip the 750 Africa Twin was our trusty stallion which carried us without complaint 15.000 kilometers over icy mountains, through deserts and deep river crossings.
Now the Africa Twin is back! Our friends of MotorFans.nl have been testing the motorbike thoroughly and together with them we went to the Dutch mountains and forests for a photoshoot. The new Africa Twin has lost nothing of its glamor. Here are the images of a beautiful bike that only by its looks makes us longing for adventure.
